Assistant Financial Controller – Global Beauty Brand

Our client, a Global Beauty Brand, a No.1 player in the beauty industry around the globe, is seeking a Assistant Financial Controller to head up the Financial Accounting Team for the Hong Kong operation.

This is a leadership position for Senior Financial Manager candidate to take a step up to become a Head Of Financial Accounting and lead a team of 10.

 
You will:
  • Lead the accounting functions including general accounting, technical accounting, financial reporting, tax compliance, inventory, accounts payable, payroll, as well as cash and sales audit
  • Partnering with the Financial Controller to provide visibility into financial performance and assesses risks and opportunities compared to strategic objectives
  • Develops a strong culture of partnership with other functional areas of the Company, leading by example and building a high performing team
  • Directs accounting and control functions, including general accounting, accounts payable, payroll, inventory control and sales audit; directs daily / weekly / monthly reporting of financial performance;
  • Leads monthly reviews of financial performance with the CEO, CFO and Leadership team

You are:
  • Degree holder in accounting, business administration or other relevant subject.
  • Has managed a company's financial statements and systems, with responsibility for related technical functions
  • Professional Accounting qualification.
  • Transformation Experience: Has a history of improving process and infrastructure, and tightly managing controls
  • Team Leadership: Experience building, motivating and developing top teams, with a track record of attracting and leading high-performing talent
  • Effective Communicator: Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must along with a demonstrated ability to communicate complex issues effectively with Leadership, Peers and Key Stakeholders
  • Minimum of 15+ years of accounting management experience, preferences for current Senior Financial Manager

Experience in retail: FMCG, Retailers, Beauty Brand, Fashion Label, home appliances, electronic products, etc.

1M – 1.2M per annual

Vice President, Facilities Management– Data Center

Hong Kong

A Data Center is seeking a Vice President Of Facilities Management. You will supervise a team of Facility Management Professionals to drive service level and project management.

Responsibilities: 
  • As a site in charge, you will head up a Data Center operation: Performance management and guidance of a local team
  • Drive facility management strategy, standard policy and direction 
  • Creating site strategy, processes and standards to enable current and future operational efficiencies
  • Identifying opportunities for improvements of critical infrastructure
  • Ensuring the infrastructure and support is in place 
  • Drive E&M improvement plan.
  • Develop partnership and program with vendors and clients 
  • Part of the management team to develop and lead business strategy
 
Requirements:
  • Degree holder in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering or equivalent
  • At least 12 years of experiences in facilities management in a Data Center environment: Building Electrical and/or MVAC Operations and Maintenance
  • Experience to work with global clients, FSI, cloud service provider, IT, and others.  
  • Knowledge in Service model and best practices, such as ITIL, ISO9000, 20000, 27001, etc.
  • Management experience is a must
  • Fluency in Cantonese, Mandarin and English (both written and spoken)

Our client, a Listed Financial Service company, determine to expand business into the yacht mortgage sector is seeking a Credit Approval Manager to explore this new business.

While to balance risk and return in the loan industry, the team strives towards to become market leader.

You will lead a small team and be responsible for loan approvals, policies, portfolio management, litigation, and recovery of the company Credit Risk exposures.


 

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate the secured product condition and borrower's credit background
  • Review, recommend and approve proposals to maintain a good balance between returns and risks exposure.
  • Responsible for client portfolio post-approval monitoring
  • Assist in ad hoc projects of investigative or trouble shooting nature on specific customer portfolio


Requirements:

  • University degree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline, preferably with other professional qualifications

You will:
  • Formulate and strategize and execute tactical communications, through multiple channels, print, press, digital, etc.
  • Launch and organize events and engagement projects, that brings the company to  the stage.
  • Set and maintain communication guidelines and standards to uphold brand identity;
  • To centralize and align other Corporate Communications teams across different sites to drive alignment.
